Balance Transfer to a Coles Credit Card

A Balance Transfer request can be made through the Coles Customer Help Phone Service or by filling in a balance transfer request form available on the Coles MasterCard website. The balance transfer rate offered by Coles is subject to the current offer available at the time and usually takes up to 15 working days to be processed.

 

Convert your flybuys to Velicity Points

Applying for a Coles Credit Card

  • Personal information - To verify your identity you will need a photo ID this can be your passport or drivers license

What Credit Cards are offered by Coles?

Coles Low Rate credit card

The Coles low rate credit card is a popular choice of cardholders who regularly do not pay off their credit card bill in full each month. The Coles Low Rate MasterCard features a competitive purchase rate and one of the longest interest free periods on purchases in the market, at 62 days, so long as your balance is repaid in full each month. The Coles Low Rate credit card is linked with the flybuys program, enabling customers to earn flybuy points as they make purchases with their credit card. The flybuy earn rate is 1 flybuy for every $2 you spend in Coles Supermarkets.

 

Coles No Annual Fee Credit Card

The Coles No Annual Fee credit card is the member of an exclusive set of cards of, that makes the promise that they will never charge an annual credit card fee and will also reward your credit card spending. The card offers a flybuy point earn rate of 1 point for every $2 you spend. The option to upgrade to the Coles Platinum No Annual Fee card maybe offered if your credit limit is in excess of $6,000.

 

Coles Rewards Credit Card

Coles Rewards Credit Card focuses on delivering the highest flybuy earn rate at 2 points for every dollar you spend, everywhere, every day. This higher earn rate comes at cost with an annual credit card fee of $89 p.a. The option to upgrade to a Platinum Coles Reward MasterCard maybe offered if your application results in a credit limit in excess of $6,000. This Platinum Reward MasterCard from Coles features all the benefits of the standard card plus a couple of additional services.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can I redeem flybuys at the Coles Checkout to receive the $10 discount?

You can get a $10 discount as many times as you like, whenever you have at least 2,000 points in your flyBuys account. However, you can only claim the $10 discount once per shop. The $10 discount feature excludes Coles Express and Coles Online. The minimum spend is $10.05 after savings and discounts in one transaction at Coles Supermarkets and BI-LO (excluding smoking/tobacco related product purchases, Coles Group gift cards and iTunes cards).

Can I use my current flybuys account when I apply for a Coles Credit Card?

Yes you can still retain this flybuys account. When you apply, you should provide your current flybuys membership number. If you are approved, your new credit card will be automatically linked to your flybuys membership account. Your coles credit card can replace your flybuys membership card, or you can continue to use both cards, which are linked to the same flybuys membership account.

If I add a supplementary card holder to my Coles Credit Card will that card also earn flybuys?

Yes, whenever your additional authorised cardholders make eligible purchases they earn points which are added to your flybuys account. Up to 8 additional cardholders are permitted on Coles Credit Cards.

If you want more credit on your Coles Mastercard, get in touch with Coles on 1300 306 397 and let them know that you would like a credit limit increase. Coles will run through some basic questions about your expenses and how much you earn when they make a decision about increasing your credit limit.

Your credit limit is based on how much you can afford to repay, so if you accepted the maximum credit limit when you applied for a Coles Mastercard and your circumstances have not changed, you may not be eligible for a credit limit increase.

How do I transfer my existing credit card debt to my Coles Mastercard?

If you’re a new Coles Mastercard account holder, you can elect to transfer a balance within the online application. Enter the account number, the amount you want to transfer and select the name of the card issuing institution. The balance transfer is processed automatically when you get your card and you activate it.
